We love to provide training opportunities for STEM Ambassadors to make sure that the work they do is as effective as possible.
Training sessions cover a wide range of topics such as:
- How to explain your job to primary students
- Presentation skills
- How to support busy weeks, such as British Science Week
- Organisations showcasing opportunities and resources that are available for you as a STEM Ambassador
We’ve put together a guide to a selection of available training sessions and resources, helping you to decide what you should focus on at every part of your volunteering journey.
All signing up for online training sessions can be done through the STEM Ambassadors platform in the Training section. Here you’ll also find links to the Training Hub on the STEM Ambassador Community, which is home to e-learning courses and useful resources, ideas and simple activities you can learn to deliver whilst volunteering.
